On the sloping site of 1.2 hectares you will find the administrative house (150 m2), the 'maison d'hotes' (200 m2), a gite (60m2), a wine cellar (30m2), a veranda (40m2), a (wood-) workshop (100m2), a shed (100m2), a swimming pool (10x5) with pool house, a jacuzzi, a leafy garden, orchard, big henhouse, meadow, vegetable garden and various terraces.

In the Maison d'Hôtes we have decorated several rooms, each with its own caracter, private facilities and very comfy beds. Central in the house you will find a large livingroom with fireplace. You can enjoy a drink here while reading a book, checking your email, or information about the region or chat with other guests. Walk through the door and find our large garden, which has many secluded spots, so you can always find your self a spot.We have different rooms in our Maison d'Hôtes, each with its own facilities. All rooms are equiped with comfortable beds and good matresses.
Gite (2 adults and 2 children)
In our garden we also have a private cottage, which can be used by 2 adults and 2 children. It has all you need, your own kitchen, bathroom with full size bath and washing machine. Outside a private terrace, with barbeque.
The region
Raviere is located in Burgundy, on the border of the departments of Yonne and Nievre. Burgundy was once a part of the powerful duchy of Burgundy. In the varied landscape, with hills, forests and lakes, you can good hiking, biking or horseback riding.There are also many monasteries to find in Burgundy , the Abbey of Cluny was once the most powerful monastery in Europe and the beautiful Abbey of Fontenay is a visit worth ! Not far away is Vézelay a pilgrimage town with a beautiful church. Also close by are the vineyards of Pouilly and Sancerre.
At 20 km away from us is an area with a large lake where you can go fishing, swimming, boating, walking and relaxing. In the same area is a wildlife park and a surveilvelpark. Currently they are building there a real medieval castle with medieval tools and people in medieval clothes. Then there is the Loire river, famous for its castles, but on the river you can also sail.
The hamlet Raviere (there are only a few farms) falls under the municipality Bouhy . From Raviere to Bouhy is a fifteen minutes (one kilometer) walk. Bouhy is one of the highest hills in the area, 355 meters above sea level. From Bouhy, but also from our garden, you have a wonderful view over the surrounding area.
